I have a small bee farm in Dexter, MI. Depending on how the bees overwinter, I hope to have a limited number of nucs for sale in May and June.. My hives are located near Green Acres Farm on Marshall Rd.

Becky can help you set up and coordinate inspection and pick up, and make arrangement for payment.
Shipping - We do not ship our bees. You will need to arrange for pickup or delivery.
Packaging - All nucs are 5 frames. You can arrange with Becky whether you
receive medium or deep frames. You are welcome to provide a NUC box for transport of your nuc.
Alternatively, you can take Becky’s nuc box home and transfer the bees out at your location. Note that a $50 deposit is required for any NUC box that leaves the premises. The deposit will be returned when the box is returned.
Pick up: Pick up will be at Green Acres Farm on Marshall Rd. Arranging to meet with Becky a day or two before transport is an option. Doing so will allow you to inspect the nuc to be sure it meets your
standards, and allow transfer of frames into your box if you are providing your own transport box, while
also allowing the NUC to be closed up the evening before transport, so that all your foragers travel home with you. If you are not able to meet a day or two prior to transport, your options will be to have the NUC closed up the evening before for transport and not inspect the frames until you unload them at your site or to inspect frames at pick up, and accept the loss of the forager bees.
Warranty – All NUCs will have brood and laying queen at the time that they leave our bee yard. If there is a problem please let me know and I will try to help you. However, there is no warranty, implied or otherwise once the hive leaves our premises.
Deposits – In 2022 we will be only keeping a list of requests for NUCs. As we get into spring and have a better idea how many NUCs we will be able to create we will convert the first ones on the list into orders. This will be done in the chronological order that you requests went onto the list so please get your names on the list as soon as possible.
